Cyber-Security Action Primer for Board Members, Without the Eye Rolling - April
Los Angeles, CA
As board members you have heard enough on cyber-security from the media and the experts to throw up your hands and roll your eyes.
Now is the time to listen to an expert in the field who will share his knowledge and give direction on how Boards can aggressively counteract the cyber-threats to their companies.
Dr. Schroth brings a unique perspective on this subject as he understands it from all sides - the companies, the government, the military, the CISO/CSO, the academia, the consultants, and most importantly, the hackers. He has experience at the highest levels of Marriott Hotels, Pfizer, and Perot Systems, among others. He has been a State Department Fulbright scholar on Information Sciences for 5 years and teaches at Wharton, Johns Hopkins, and American University. He regularly advises all the major intelligence agencies of the Federal Government and also the Boards and CEO's of major corporations on cyber security.
According to Dr. Schroth, “80% of a typical company’s assets are now digital, but unfortunately 80% of the funds spent on cyber protection are wasted”.
NACD SoCal is proud to present Dr. Richard Schroth at this special lunch event.
