NACD Board Leadership Conference NACD Chapter System

Disrupted or Disruptor: Which one is your Company? Please jo

March 18, 2015
Newport Beach, CA

The Southern California Chapter of the NACD together with the Audit Committee Roundtable of Orange County, invite directors to attend an interactive session focused on preparing for disruptive technologies. As directors, you will inevitably face issues regarding the Internet of Things, 3D printing, cloud technology, automation of knowledge work – buzz words that are thrown around yet many directors don’t know what they actually mean for their companies. These and other disruptors have great implications on individual companies, and directors should be equipped to capitalize on the benefits and mitigate risks associated with them. Critical questions we will explore with our expert panelists include:

     *  How can you best identify what really matters to your company given that everything is pegged as the “next big thing”?

     *  What practical steps can you take to prepare for technology disruptors?

     *  How can you measure the impact of technology disruptors in order to stay ahead of the curve and manage risk?

     *  How can your company use technology disruption to its advantage?
